Erik Malmsten’s works focus on inner and outer space and inner and outer bodies, with a red tread on abject thinking, with the abject being something psychological. A feeling that can be unpleasant, disgusting or frightening. A feeling he points out, blows up, and tries to enclose his viewer with. He explores these subjects mostly with audio, video, and room installations.
