On point, until it hurts. Within his decade-spanning discography SSTROM embodies the calmly bold. Being involved in successful bands for the bigger part of his life, this restless creator is now presenting his solo output. Equally humble and passionate, this moniker puts its faith upon the listener, while upholding a rigid facade of the sterile and commanding, while the craft remains a trotters sophisticated fantasy. One half of SHXCXCHCXSH now builds a version of the modern disco that nobody asked for. SSTROM is the capsule that shocks and comforts, gathers and spark a new thought. It is the robust shell that acts as a camouflage for the wild and wicked bleakness of the music he produces. In line with this vision, he released the album Avvik on Rösten on September 24 — a record that further deepens his distinct sonic landscape.
