Hanna Sandk
Hanna Sandvik (FI) moved from Finland to Umeå to pursue her dream of studying a Master's degree in Gastronomy, which was her entry point into a deeper exploration of the senses. What began as a curiosity for taste and culinary experiences evolved into a fascination with how perception is shaped, for example, how scent triggers memory, or how sound can transform the experience of something as simple as a glass of wine. Over time, her focus shifted toward the physical nature of sound. Drawn into an obsession with electronic music, she became fascinated by how rhythm and bass can stimulate the senses and create a feeling of never wanting to stop dancing. However, navigating a smaller scene in Umeå, she found it difficult to connect with like-minded people. As a result, she founded Hierta kollektiv with her friends, built on a simple idea: if the parties you’re looking for don’t exist, you create them yourself. With a passion for creating dancefloors filled with stimulating sound, joy, and movement, Hanna’s music collection blends rhythmic techno, electro, and breakbeats into a carefully crafted recipe for a night of endless dancing.
