Nonagon Festival

On 16-18 July 2026, the fifth edition of Nonagon Festival will be held at the abandoned oil cisterns on Svanö island in Ådalen. The two massive, cylindrical spaces, with a reverberation of up to 25 seconds, become a living instrument for musicians and artists to explore.We invite musicians, visual artists, sound and performance artists to create art in unexpected and boundless forms. The programme consists of musicians, visual artists, performance artists exploring genre-defying practices and techniques as well as workshops open to all ticket holders.

On 16 July, Lamour Records will host the festival opening by the sauna next to the river. The opening night is free and open to everyone. 

The festival grounds are open 17-18 July between 10:00 - 02:00.

A detailed programme will be released nearer to the festival.

Getting to the festival

The festival takes place on Svanö island in Kramfors municipality.

By car

Address: Svanövägen 40, Lunde, Kramfors
Parking is available at Svanö Folkets Hus (follow the signs).

By train

Travel to Kramfors Station (tickets via SJ.se).

Festival Bus

The festival bus departs from Stockholm on the Thursday before the festival and returns to Stockholm on the Sunday after the festival.

Stockholm – Uppsala – Gävle – Hudiksvall – Svanö

Return (Sunday, July 19):
Svanö – Hudiksvall – Gävle – Uppsala – Stockholm

Local transport

There are local buses from Kramfors to Svanö (stop: Svanö Folkets hus).

Accommodation

There is a campsite close to the harbour, approximately a 10 minute walk from the festival grounds. There is access to showers, drinking water, toilets, a beautiful swimming spot and a sauna.
