Nonagon Festival
The fifth edition of the Nonagon Festival will take place from July 16–18, 2026, within the abandoned oil storage tanks on Svanö in Ådalen. These two massive cylindrical spaces—featuring a reverberation time of up to 25 seconds—are transformed into a living instrument where musicians and artists experiment with spatiality and acoustics. We invite musicians, visual artists, and sound and performance artists to create works in unexpected and boundary-defying forms. The program features musicians, artists, and performing artists exploring genre-bending expressions, alongside workshops and panel discussions.

OPENING NIGHT WITH LAMOUR RECORDS
On Thursday, July 16, starting at 7:00 PM, Lamour Records invites you to the festival’s opening night at the sauna by the river.
The opening night is free and open to everyone; no ticket is required. The sauna will be hot, the river refreshingly cold, and music from Lamour artists will fill the summer evening. Bring a picnic, take a dip, listen to the music, and join us as we kick off the festival weekend together.

OOOHHHMMM
MYRIA ARTS PRESENTS: OOOHHHMMM [Ω]
OOOHHHMMM [Ω] measures resistance - the point at which matter opposes current, and force meets its limit. Ω - or resistance - circulates through materials and systems, bodies and movements, and collective action, charging through individuals and structures.
Ω resonates with the events of Ådalen in 1931, during which the boundary between state power and civilian resistance surfaced under extreme tension. This historical moment is treated as a charge that persists still today - an echo connecting past struggles with a present marked by growing authoritarian pressure and contested freedoms.
Moving between order and breakdown, borders and thresholds, the festival programme explores resistance as something relational: produced in encounters between bodies, technologies, social and ecological systems. Resistance here is neither fixed or singular, but constantly negotiated. The exhibition’s central theme is community; how solidarity is formed through opposition, and how collective resistance can generate new futures. Ω asks what it means to resist today, and how resistance can be activated, sustained, and shared.
Ω positions resistance not only as friction or obstruction, but as a generative force - one that redirects energy, shapes movement, creates connection, and opens space for imagining alternative systems still to come.
