Jessica Ekomane

Berlin-based electronic musician and sound artist Jessica Ekomane (FR) crafts immersive sonic environments where sound becomes a force that reshapes space, perception, and collective experience. Working with quadraphonic systems and psychoacoustic phenomena, her performances unfold as dynamic encounters between rhythm, noise, melody, and the body, inviting audiences into states of heightened attention and transformation. Ekomane’s practice explores the tension between individual listening and collective dynamics, questioning how we perceive, interpret, and share sound. Her debut LP Multivocal emerged from a commissioned sleeping event at Ars Electronica and since then, her work has been presented internationally at institutions and festivals including CTM, Berghain, Café OTO, Hamburger Bahnhof, Reina Sofía, and Art Basel. Recent recognitions include the Villa Romana Prize and the ZKM Giga-Hertz Production Award. In 2024, she released Manifolds, a split LP with Laurel Halo via Portraits GRM / Shelter Press. She is a fellow of the Berlin Artistic Research Programme 2024-25.
